You may have already noticed, but if not, I thought it would be a good idea to let you know that we now have three new categories on CleanTechnica, categories featuring most of our exclusive content (but not all of it).
In the CleanTechnica Reports category, youâll find articles that include original research conducted by CleanTechnica, substantial additional analysis to supplement data collected by others (like the two reports I published yesterday regarding US renewable electricity capacity and generation), or substantial integration of research conducted by others (something akin to a literature review, but not necessarily that comprehensive). Iâve gone back through our archives in order to add much of our previous work along these lines to this new category, so have a look over there for some original reads. Many of my favorite CleanTechnica articles are included there. (Thanks to the readers and writers who have contributed to the development of this idea in recent months â" it was apparently a very ripe one, given the number of times I received suggestions to do something like this.)
The CleanTechnica Reviews category is more straightforward, but hopefully no less useful. It is where weâll be filing away all of our reviews, of electric cars, LEDs, solar power products, etc. Again, Iâve tried to go back and stick previous CleanTechnica reviews in this category.
The CleanTechnica Videos category, you guessed it, highlights videos recorded by CleanTechnica staff â" exclusive interviews, videos of solar farms and wind farms, videos of interesting presentations we attend, videos highlighting various cleantech facts, and more. We try to make them fun as well as informative.
There are still some other exclusives not covered in those categories. Theyâre still included in the parent category to all of those â" CleanTechnica Exclusives.
Of course, I view CleanTechnica as more of a community than a one-way street. If you want to contribute a report, review, or video â" or an idea for one â" let me know! If you look back through the archives above, many of the exclusive reports and reviews that weâve featured have come from readers (either readers contributing a one-off piece or readers who became writers, like Thomas, Stephen, Daryl, and Julian). Again, this is some of the best content on CleanTechnica, imho. Itâs crowdsourced reporting on one of the most exciting transitions in human history â" weâre just lucky to be a good gathering place for reading about, writing about, and inspiring a faster transition.
